Snoop Dogg said he made the decision after deep consideration and consultations with his family. He also urged the public to respect his privacy during this time.

He said; “After much consideration and conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke. Please respect my privacy at this time.”

Reacting, Sean Paul hailed the Drop It Like It’s Hot’ crooner and vowed to honour him by keeping up the smoking culture tonight.

Quoting Snoop’s tweet, the Jamaican wrote; “Big Up mi bredda Snoop. I’ll keep it blazin’ in your honor 2nite”

CorrectNG recalls that the American rapper disclosed in an exclusive preview on Martha Stewart’s iHeartRadio podcast in 2022 that he started smoking at the age of 18.

Also, on the Howard Stern Show with actor Seth Rogen, Snoop Dogg revealed that he hired a full-time staffer whose sole job it is to roll his blunts, who earns between $40k to $50k. The avowed cannabis fan said he just doesn’t have the time to roll it himself.

“That’s his J-O-B, his occupation. On his resume it says, ‘what do you do?’ ‘I’m a blunt roller.’ P-B-R, professional blunt roller,” he said.
