Meanwhile, Davido recently disclosed that his father, Mr Adedeji Adeleke used to get his show promoters and fans arrested.

He said his father was keen on education and business, so he did not particularly buy into the idea of doing music in the early stages of his career.

Speaking during an interview on Channel4’s programme the Lateish Show, Davido said his billionaire father couldn’t condone the thought of his son not being educated.

Omo Baba Olowo, explained that anytime his father heard of an event he was to perform at, he would order the police to storm the event and arrest both the organisers of the show and any fan the police could lay their hands on.

The DMW boss also claimed that Mr Adeleke has a way of monitoring his activities and movements.

He said; “I come from a family where it’s like, education, education, business, so over time my decision to do music was like a beef.

“Any show he [my dad] heard I’m performing at, he sends the police. He arrests the fans, and promoters. He has a camera watching wherever I go to.”

He, however, admitted that his father’s decision stemmed from his truancy as he used to abscond from school when he just started music.
