Tinubu further promised to revive the economy and fight corruption and insecurity through provision of modern equipment for security agencies.

He said; “A leader in a plural society like ours is enjoined to be a leader of all. If elected, I shall govern honestly and democratically, in harmony with our nation’s constitution.

“I have tried to be a faithful and dutiful servant. I have tried to improve the lot of all our people, whether Christians or Muslims.

“I thank Almighty Allah for the opportunity to meet you all on this great occasion. I am humbled by your attendance and the warmth of your reception.

“I pray He continues to give you the wisdom and rectitude to fulfill this great and vital duty. Without your guidance and counsel, the nation cannot attain the place Allah has set for us.”

He spoke at the North West zonal rally in Kaduna on Tuesday and vowed to turn the country around if the people make him president.

The APC chieftain said that if Nigerians go to the polls and give him their mandate, it would be a decision they won’t regret because he would amongst other things, bring a lasting solution to the present security challenges.

Tinubu also warned that anybody who wants to ferment trouble because they don’t believe in the peace, unity and progress of the country will not find it easy if he eventually gets elected.

He said; “I want to assure Nigerians that voting me as the President of this country will be a total turnaround for all the challenges the citizens of this country is going through.”

Tinubu added; “My government will do everything possible to create jobs so as to give our youths a sense of belonging. Every opportunity will be made to give our farmers the enabling environment to go back to farm with the necessary inputs to enhance agricultural production in every part of the country.”
