I’ll give you 1 million to stop telling lies – Tems, US producer, ATL Jacob clash online
Nigerian music star, Temilade Openiyi, professionally known as Tems has clashed with American music producer, ATL Jacob on social media.
The drama started after ATL Jacob claimed in a recent podcast that the ‘Damages’ crooner was initially adamant about clearing her sample on Future’s ‘Wait For U’ which featured her and Drake.
The sound engineer who produced the song, stated that Future had to talk to Drake to use his relationship with Tems to get her to approve the sample.
ATL Jacobs’s claim earned him backlash on social media with Tems and her manager also refuting it.
Reacting to the backlash via his handle, the record producer said he is ready to give her 100,000 dollars if she can produce evidence of him talking bad about her.
He tweeted; “All this negativity coming to me … I got a $100,000 wire transfer for Tems and her team to find me 1 time I spoke negatively about her.”
Meanwhile, the Grammy winning songstress offered the American producer $1 million instead, if he would stop telling lies.
Tems wrote; “Its not about saying anything negative. Stop telling lies. I’ll give you 1 million.”
He responded; “I told an opinion and said “ I felt like you was a bit irritated” where is the lie about how i felt?”
Also, wading into the matter, Tems manager, Mayowa reinforced her claim that ATL lied about Drake having to call them to clear the record.
He wrote; “You lied about us not wanting to clear the record. You also lied that Drake had to call us to clear the record. You then lied and said you spoke to Tems saying “No need to thank me” at the Grammys. This is literally recorded in HD. What exactly is wrong with you???”
