Igbo not ripe to produce Nigeria’s president – Brymo insists

Nigerian singer, Olawale Ashimi, known professionally as Brymo, has reiterated his comment that the South-East is not ripe to produce the next president of Nigeria.

The ‘Oleku’ crooner is a supporter of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Brymo said that voting the flagbearer of the Labour Party (LP) and former Anambra State governor, Peter Obi as President this year is not a wise decision.

He said there is a need for Obi to first organise “his home front” before he can comfortably run and win because that is the only way to convince other regions that Nigeria will be safe in the hands of an Igbo man.

In a series of tweet responses to an LP supporter, Brymo said: “Don’t respect my intelligence nor choices… you are trying to not accept a resolve… argue more then… pls …. It is not prudent to elect him yet, he may have to vividly organise his home front to lead rest of us… an Igbo VP first maybe to test the waters with the region is safer!”

He also said that the Igbo presidency will remain a pipe dream for as long as IPOB continue to demand secession.

When a publication reported that Brymo said an Igbo man is not ripe to become president, Brymo maintained that it is his position.

“Yeah I did … I said it !?..” he said.

Meanwhile, Senior Pastor, Champions Royal Assembly, Joshua recently released his prophetic insights for 2023.

Iginla’s prophecies cut across socio-political issues, and God’s mind regarding the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, forthcoming general elections, among others.

The Prophet predicted that Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike would be a major factor to reckon in the presidential and governorship elections.

He added that external forces would infiltrate the G-5 integrity group which is led by Wike, and cause a crack.

The prophet warned the ruling All Progressives Congress, (APC), against being over-confident ahead of the upcoming elections.

He also said Nnamdi Kanu will be released, but added that he needs to pray for his health before and after he regains freedom.

Iginla said: “Wike’s political destiny is not yet over; he will play a major political role in the destiny of this country, the star is on his head somehow. He should watch over his health too and avoid being poisoned. Like I said, Wike is a factor.”

“The G5 governors, especially those of them still contesting, should pray well to pull through in their bid to serve this country politically. I am particular about one of them. There will be a crack among the G5. They will fall apart due to external forces.”
