If I’m released, I will end insecurity in South-East in two minutes – Nnamdi Kanu

Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has vowed to end insecurity in the South-East if granted his freedom.

Kanu who has been on treasonable felony charges, said if is his released from prison he will bring an end to the insecurity in two minutes

According to the IPOB leader, nobody in the South Eastern part of Nigeria can counter his orders concerning the security situation in the region.

Kany spoke on Tuesday while addressing journalists inside courtroom during the resumption of his trial at the Abuja Federal High Court.

He said; “I suspect that some people in government are making money out of insecurity in the South East; they know that once Nnamdi Kanu is outside, in two minutes, this nonsense will stop.

“Who’s the idiot that can alter my orders in the South East? Nobody can. I Nnamdi Kanu, let me come out of this nonsense, and in two minutes, there will be peace in the South East.”

Earlier, Justice Binta Nyako had declined Kanu’s application for bail, but ordered an accelerated hearing of the case involving the Biafra agitator.

Nyako held that the Federal High Court would only grant an accelerated hearing in the matter and ordered the prosecution to call its first witness.
