Popular Nigerian singer, Oyinkansola Aderibigbe better known as Ayra Starr, has revealed the feminist policy she will implement if she gets an opportunity to be president for a day.
The ‘Rush’ hit maker said as president, she will make sure that throughout the day, women don’t have to pay for anything.
Ayra Starr stated this in an interview while stressing that everything, including bags, jewellery, and food would be free for women and children.
The interviewer stated that former US President Barack Obama added her song “Rush” to his playlist for the year 2023 and then asked what she would do if he became president for a day.
In response, Ayra said; “If I was president for a day, I would make sure that women don’t have to pay for anything. No woman has to pay for anything. Everything free, all the bags, all the jewelry, food, women and children don’t have to pay for anything.”

CorrectNG reported earlier that Nigerian reality star, Tolani Shobajo better known as Tolanibaj stated that women are not supposed to compete with men.
She opined the male and female genders are not equal as the woman is supposed to complement the man and not be in a competition with him.
The former Big Brother Naija housemate said the aforementioned reasons are why she cannot refer to herself as a feminist.
“I feel like women are not supposed to compete with men, they are just supposed to complement them. That’s why I can’t say I am a feminist because I don’t see how if a man is doing gra gra, as a woman I should be doing gra gra too”, Tolanibaj said.
