I would’ve loved if Bob Marley collaborated with Burna Boy – Granddaughter, Zuri Marley

Bob Marley’s granddaughter, Zuri Marley, has said that Nigerian music star, Burna Boy is the only artiste she would have cherished seeing work alongside her grandfather.

The grandchild of the late Jamaican reggae legend, who is also a musician, made her preference known while speaking at the movie premiere of ‘Bob Marley: One Love’ in London recently.

Zuri said she thought about it thoroughly and was convinced Burna Boy was the only artiste whose collaboration with her grandfather she would have loved to see.

She said: “The person who I would want my grandpa [Bob Marley] to collaborate with is Burna Boy. I had to think about it. I went backstage and I was like, ‘Burna Boy. Africa Unite.”

Ace Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu also known as Burna Boy has revealed the interesting comment American rapper, J. Cole made about him after they linked up in the studio.

The self-acclaimed ‘African Giant’ claimed that J. Cole said late rap icon, 2Pac reincarnated in Africa and came back as him [Burna].

Speaking on a podcast, the Nigerian Grammy winner said he was in the studio with the Hip Hop star and some basketball players when the statement was made.

According to him, when Cole said ”This nixxa is Tupac” he looked around to find out who he was talking about, then the Love Yours’ crooner pointed at him.

He noted that the rapper repeated himself and noted that “Burna Boy is Tupac reincarnated in Africa”.
