I won’t stop doing good – Toyin Abraham says amid reports of Nigerians boycotting her movie

Nigerian movie star, Toyin Abraham, has reacted to the series of backlash and setbacks she’s been facing owing to her political choice in the 2023 general election.

CorrectNG recalls that in the run-up to the presidential election, the actress declared her support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who contested on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

However, for the eight months that Tinubu has been in office, the economy, security and other sectors have experienced massive decline.

Fans opined that Toyin Abraham and some of her colleagues who endorsed Tinubu have a share in the blame. This is just as there was an incident at a Lagos cinema weeks ago where movie lovers skipped watching her new film, Malaika and a lady who witnessed the event shared it online.

The Nollywood actress who continues to face backlash, took to her Twitter page on Tuesday and stated that she wil continue doing good.

Toyin Abraham, who was fond of doing giveaways on social media, also said that she will not stop supporting people in her own way.

She tweeted; “I won’t stop doing good and I will continue to support people in my little way. Love and light always❤️❤️🙏🙏”

But it only earned her more criticism and condemnation from Nigerians who asked her to share the bright ideas that she claimed President Tinubu shared with her.
