Big Brother Naija ‘Level Up’ winner, Josephina Otabor, better known as Phyna, has expressed sadness, wishing she was not born in Nigeria.
The reality TV star and rising actress who stated this via her Twitter account while lamented over the rate of sabotage in Nollywood.
Phyna, who made her acting debut in the 2023 movie ‘Osato,’ described the Nigerian movie industry as “ins@ne”.
She wrote: “Omo seems the Nollywood industry is also insaane. Gosh I’m tired, people just make things difficult for people. I wish I was born somewhere far from here.”

CorrectNG reported last December that Edo-born brand influencer, Phyna expressed the desire to migrate to a location where she would be all alone.
She made this known during a chat with media personality, Hero Daniels, noting that she is tired of the controversies and family issues.
Phyna said she will love to go to an isolated place where her house will be surrounded by a body of water, and she won’t see anybody. The winner of BBNaija ‘Level Up’ however, added that she wants to be with just her smartphone.
When asked if she is happy, Phyna said she was happier before she became a celebrity and a lot of the things that used to bring her joy are no longer attainable.
In her words; “I just wish there can be a place I will go and stay, that it is only my house that will be there. Every other thing should just be water. Like I don’t want to be seeing anybody, but I just want to have my phone. I am tired.”
