Nigerian media personality, Denrele Edun, has revealed that he was arrested by a lecturer when he was studying at the University of Lagos.
The graduate of English-education said the lecturer used to act nice towards him because he thought the TV host was a girl.
Denrele shared the story while being featured on Tea With Taymesan podcast, explaining that the man invited him to his office which is where the harassment occured.
According to the actor, he had heard about the lecturer, whose name he did not disclose, said he wanted to submit a test paper but the man kept telling him to bring it to his office.
He initially did not know the man’s true intentions so he went to the officeinnocently only for the man to welcome him and address him as a girl.
Denrele said he was shocked but he knew that if he denied being a girl, he would fail the course, so he continued with the act.
However, the man asked him to come closer and sit on his lap, but he refused and the lecturer stood up to show him that he had an erection.
After a series of back and forth, Denrele said he was allowed to leave the office and while walking through the hallway he refused to answer anybody.

In other news, Nigerian content creator, Muri has claimed that he was arrested over a video he posted online where he was reenacting a scene of rapper, Naira Marley.
He said that he only acted as if he was smoking Igbo in the clip which circulated online but it was interpreted as him promoting drug abuse.
Muri, in a fresh clip, lamented that he had just been released from detention even though he did not do anything wrong.
The footage which allegedly got him into trouble was a recreation of Naira Marley reacting to Mohbad’s allegation that he was assaulted.
Recall that few months ago, Mohbad accused his ex-boss, Naira of unleashing boys on him when he made some requests which the music executive did not like.
After that, the Marlina Music boss shared a video on social media where he refuted the allegation and was smoking weed while saying; ”Nobody beat Mohbad…”
It was that last scene Muri mimicked and posted on the internet that allegedly made security agents seek him out. He said he does smoke and he only did it just because he wanted to trend.
Surprisingly, while he was crying about being arrested, the young man was still smoking something believed to be the same substance.
