Controversial Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu has stated that music superstar, Davido did not win a Grammy award in 2024 because of spiritual challenges.
The influencer stated this in a video message posted on social media while giving Davido, who lost all three nominations, instruction on what he needs to do to overturn his bad luck.
Tyla’s ‘Water’ defeated Davido’s ‘Unavailable,’ Asake’s ‘Amapiano,’ Burna Boy’s ‘City Boys,’ and Ayra Starr’s ‘Rush’ to clinch the award.
Davido’s ‘Timeless’ and Burna Boy’s ‘I Told Them’ also lost the Best Global Music Album award to Shakti’s ‘This Moment.’
Burna Boy’s ‘Alone’ and OBO’s ‘Feel’ lost the Best Global Music Performance to ‘Pashto’ by Bela Fleck, Edgar Meyer and Zakir Hussain. This means no Nigerian won an award at the 66th Grammys.
Uche Maduagwu said he knows the reason for the loss is spiritual because he had seen it after reportedly fasting and praying for 7 days.
According to the thespian, he saw a vision of the DMW boss winning the Grammy Awards but that would only have been possible if he asked for forgiveness from his baby mama, Sophia Momodu.
Uche said; “Davido, not winning a single Grammy after 3 Nomination is SPIRITUAL. God Dey show you Sey His Almighty God. I gave you a prophecy from God Sey if uno Beg Sophia and give IMADE the Attention you give your IBEJI, you No go Win Grammy, E no happen?”
