Bayern Munich star, Alphonso Davies, has revealed how Nigerian superstar artiste, Davido’s provides support for him while preparing for games.

The 23-year-old defender said he has a playlist of tracks, some of which are Davido’s songs that he uses to get himself ready ahead of games.

Alphonso made this known in a video posted on Bundesliga’s social media pages when he was asked to name top five the songs that prepare him for games and he mentioned two Davido’s songs.

He said; “If I could only have five songs that I could listen to before games? That’s very tough! Okay, number one is ‘Nonstop’ by Drake, number two is ‘Fein’ by Travis Scott, number three is ‘Tombstone’ by Rod Wave, number four is ‘Legend Can Never Die’ by Davido and number five is ‘No Competition’ by also Davido”.

Meanwhile, CorrectNG recalls that Real Madrid midfielder, Aurelien Tchouameni recently disclosed that he started listening to Davido when he was 10 years old.

The 24-year-old, while speaking in an episode of the The Bridge Show, said the Omo Baba Olowo is his favourite African artiste.

Speaking in the presence of Davido, Tchouameni said; “When I was 10 years old, I used to listen to Davido. Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying he is very old. His first song that I listened to was ‘Back When.’”

In response, the ‘Feel It’ crooner disclosed that he started music at the young age of 17 which is when he released his debut single, ‘Back When’.

The DMW boss said; “I started young though. I was very young when I released some of my hit songs. I am 31 now. I was 17 when I released ‘Back When.’”

Real Madrid star, Antonio Rudiger also stirred reactions on social media platforms after disclosing that his favourite artiste is a Nigerian.

The defender made it known that he is a fan of Grammy winning Afrobeats sensation, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, otherwise known as Wizkid.

Rudiger, a Sierra Leone-born Germany international disclosed this when he was asked in a recent interview with Le Media Carre.

Interviewer: “Who is your favourite artiste?”

Rudiger: “My favourite artist is Wizkid.”
