Controversial aide of music superstar, Davido, Israel Afeare popularly known as Israel DMW, has revealed the amount his estranged wife, Sheila, returned to him as bride price.
He said the total cost that he spent on their wedding which held in 2022 was N2 million, but Sheila refunded just N1,000.
The DMW logistics manager made the clarification while reacting to his estranged spouse’s claims that she had returned the bride price.
In an Instagram live video with popular media personality, Daddy Freeze, Israel DMW she used transfer to send the money to him. According to him, the bride price was supposed to be refunded to his family because he didn’t make the payment personally.
Meanwhile, it was reported earlier that Israel DMW had urged his ex-wife, Sheila Courage David to return his bride price the proper way.

He also called her out in a post on his Instagram story and insisted that only a Federal High Court could dissolve their marriage.
“Kindly return my bride price in a proper way. You can’t transfer it directly to me through an alert. I was never the one who paid it directly. My family did, and it was directly by hand.
We married under the acts, and it is only a Federal High Court, who has the statutory powers to get it dissolved after 2 years,” Israel wrote.

The couple who recently announced that they were separated have been throwing shades at each other and leveling allegations regarding what they experienced in their marriage.
It may be recalled that Davido’s logistics handler ridiculed his estranged wife’s culinary skills, describing her meals as “total rubbish,” and criticized her for being dirty and disrespectful.
Reacting to the marital saga, Doyle, in a post on his social media page, referred to him as a lowlife for engaging in public spat with his ex-spouse.
He wrote; “It takes a special specie of low-life man to be engaged in social media saga yabis with a woman he has been intimate with.”
