I passed away in a car accident four years ago – Yul Edochie

Nigerian actor and filmmaker, Yul Edochie has recounted how he was involved in a fatal car accident in 2019 and died but was given a second life by God.

In a post on his social media page, the Nollywood star claimed that the Almighty told him his first life which was for himself had gone, while his second life would be dedicated to serving Him (God).

According to him; “In 2019 I died in a car accident. But God gave me a 2nd life. Not a 2nd chance but a 2nd life. God told me that my first life was for myself and it was gone.

But the 2nd life He gave me, I would live for God, for His word, His glory and live for humanity. I’ll break it down later. Ladiies and Gentlemen, have yourselves a beautiful day. ❤️❤️✌️✌️”

CorrectNG recalls that Yul revealed in November 2022 that he had been called to become a minister of God. He claimed he had received the instruction long ago, without taking steps to actualise it.

In his words; “I have a calling to be a preacher of God, to be one of God’s minister, to preach the word of God through words and actions.

“I’ve had this calling a long time ago – actually, many years ago. But, I’ve always felt maybe the time hadn’t come, the time wasn’t right. But now, it’s very strong. I feel the time has come.

“God has blessed me in this life. By God’s grace, I’ve become one of the biggest, one of the most celebrated actors in the continent of Africa. God has taken me to a very high point in my career. I’m starting to realise God lifted me as an actor to where I am so that I can become one of his ministers”.
