I miss them – Singer Crayon reveals he’s not gone home to his parents since Mavin signed him

Mavin records artiste, Charles Chibueze Chukwu, professionally known as Crayon has said that he misses his parents dearly because it’s been long since he saw them.

In a series of posts on his Twitter page, the Ijo Loba Loba crooner, opened up on some of the sacrifices he had to make on his journey to success.

According to Crayon, he left his parents house in 2017 and moved to Mavin headquarters after he was signed.

He revealed that since then, he had not returned home, even though his parents residence is just about an hour 30 minutes drive from his current residence.

The young artiste, however said that he still keeps in touch with them, though being apart has not been easy for him.

In his words; ”Left my parents house back in 2017 since then I haven’t gone back! It’s not something I’m proud of especially because, it’s just an hour 30mins drive to my parents house! But as a dream chaser wey I be I gat make sacrifices! It’s not easy on me though I miss em so much !😭❤️

I still keep in touch though it’s not eazy at me I wey I be omo mummy😭😭😭❤️

I miss my mum so much mhen! haven’t seen her in a long time ! I dey fuck up dieee 😭😭💔 me wey I be omo mummy oh ❤️😭 we talk everytime on da phone ! She always saying a prayer for me telling how proud she is ! na “Oncode” be her ringtone! 😭❤️ my mum my biggest fan 😭❤️”

CorrectNG reported weeks ago that Crayon said he cried his eyes out when he didn’t blow immediately after mavin signed him

He said that he wondered if he wasn’t talented enough and why people were not recognizing him.

According to the singer, he had spoken to his boss, Don Jazzy, about it and the producer encouraged him that he will be a huge success but the process takes time.

He tweeted; ”Last year December I was crying a baby like wtf is happening to me like I’m not talented enough to get gigs abi no be sing too correct, jackpot , sofine , and all those other dope records! But now I’ve lost count of how many shows I have done! I’m grateful ❤️🙏🏽

I remember going to JAZZY’s house crying to him like baba Wetin dey sup why them dey do like say them no dey see me! Haaaa JAZZY sha! The reassurance every time! Baba go say calm down! No worry I no dey rush you I understand when your time come you go POP! And you go POP crazy!!!!”
