A young Kenyan woman, Rachael Wambui has revealed via social media that she built a house for her mother within two years.
She shared a photo of an unpainted building and noted that it has been completed in fulfilment of her promise.
Rachael, who narrated how she was able to get the project to take off, commended herself for making her mother proud.
Sharing a photo of the house, she said; “I’d say it’s a wrap, all blessings count’s. I made my mama proud.”

In December 2022, Rachael explained that she had to lie to her lover that she got a job and they were asking for a commission of 13,000. She also said she took up jobs at night to raise money for the building project.

I come up with a plan to shift to my friends house nikamshow anihost for one month, atleast save some pesa for the rent, plus Ile 16k ya commission plus my part time salary. I managed to make a clean 75k, and used it for roofing. I know it’s not enough.”
