A young man identified as Charles Akwari, has stirred reactions online after disclosing that he renounced his Nigerian citizenship.

The former US military enlistee said he has no regrets renouncing the citizenship especially after witnessing the events that unfold daily in the country.

Charles said he was born in Nigeria, but it is a ‘terrible country’ which has horrible humans that he does not want to be addressed alongside.

The consultant wrote: “Glad I have no regrets renouncing my Nigerian Citizenship. Never to be addressed alongside horrible humans. I’m proud to say I was only born in that horrible country but I’m not from there. Tueh.”

American Hip Hop star, Robert Rihmeek Williams otherwise known as Meek Mill has revealed that he is interested in becoming a citizen of Ghana.

He made this known through his official Twitter account while explaining that it is because of the oppressiveness in the United States.

The Dream Chaser boss noted that he wants dual citizenship to America’s oppressiveness hindering the growth of Black people in the country if they do not do as instructed.

Meek Mill wrote; “I wanna get citizenship in Ghana!!!! America made to tear black men down if you don’t follow orders!”.

In another tweet, he said; “Africa don’t got this shit I’m getting dual citizenship if they let me!”
