Nigerian rapper, Chinko Ekun recently boasted about his ability to outrap the South African rap maestro, Nasty C in a freestyle.

He stated this via his official Twitter (X) handle on Monday when fans talked about the possibility of going head-to-head with Nasty C.

It all started with a video of the South African freestyling on The Radar and a lady opined that Nigerian artistes, Dremo, Rema, Chinko Ekun and Wale Turner would beat him at rapping.

She said if anyone can bring any of Nasty C’s rap which is ‘harder’ than Chinko’s own and she would deactivate her account.

In response, another user said; “A rap without speaking your dialect chinko ekun ain’t close to Nasty c rap”

On seeing the tweet, Chinko, who is known for rapping in Yoruba language, said he can stand Nasty bar-for-bar in English for an hour. The former YBNL act said if they should battle, the South African Hip Hop star would get tired before he’s done.

He wrote; “Nasty will get tired ! I will stand him with English bars one hour + non stop and I am not fvcking capping ! Y’all don’t even know what I am capable of . Na Naija market de cause all these things.”
