“I don’t need to be disrespected” – Nasboi lambasts Yhemo Lee for talking down on his craft (Video)

Nigerian skit-maker, Lawal Michael Nasiru also known as Nasboi has given a hot response to club promoter and actor, Yhemo Lee for talking down on his musical talent.

Yhemo Lee appeared as a guest on Bae U’s podcast and shaded Nasboi for switching to music despite not having the voice to be a ‘good music’.

The promoter said the comic act is a good content creator but he was not impressed while watching him perform his newly released song, ‘Cinderella’ at a popular bar in Lagos.

He said there was a certain level of masculinity in Nasboi’s voice that was irritating, even though the song is a beautiful song.

Nasboi took to his Twitter account on Thursday evening and expressed disappointment in Yhemo Lee being that he is someone he respected.

He dismissed assumptions by fans that what his colleague did was a form of PR for him, and noted that there was no need for the disrespect.

The online comedian gave props to his other colleagues who promoted the track for him and fumed at Yhemo for chasing clout with his name.

In a now-deleted post, Nasboi wrote; “That’s no fvcking PR from Yhemo men! I respect him and I don’t need to be disrespected that way. My colleagues did their best in trying to promote my music and some other colleague is here talking my shit down and you think is PR? I don’t chase stvpid clout.”
