‘I don’t bed wet’ – Kwankwaso jabs opponents

The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Presidential candidate, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has thrown jabs at his opponents in the 2023 presidential election.

Kwankwaso, said his credentials are credible and weighty, making him the best candidate to become Nigeria’s next president, Peoples Gazette reports.

In a video posted on Twitter, the former governor of Kano state who answered questions in Hausa language, said he has a rich understanding of how government at key levels work.

He said; “Nigerians should vote wisely this time around, as the country needs someone who can save it. I’ve worked with the ministry of defence, served as the Kano state governor and represented Kano Central senatorial district for several years with enough knowledge to know what is needed.”

Kwankwaso also touted his educational qualifications as being superior to that of his opponents.

“I am a PhD holder, unlike a secondary school cert holder or diploma cert holder. I do not bed wet nor am I a spare tyre,” Kwankwaso added.

The leading candidates in the presidential race are All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), and Atiku Abubakar, Peoples Democratic Party flagbearer.

In other political news, a support group for the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi recently received 30 vehicles donated by supporters.

This was made known by a member of the group who dislosed that the cars were donated 30 people to the Obi/Datti campaign.

According to the lady known as @realYangaB on Twitter, the cars are private vehicles which were repaired and fitted with new tyres.

She revealed that the 30 cars belonged mostly to road transport workers, and after being repaired, they were branded with the Obi/Datti design.

Photos and videos of the branded campaign vehicles which were officially unveiled on Sunday, 18th of December 2022, have already started circulating online.

Taking to Twitter, @realYangaB wrote; ”Today we launched 30 cars we didn’t buy for ObiDatti Campaign. Obidients brought their vehicles to us, particularly transporters and we repair the cars, buy them new tires and brand all ObiDatti for President.”
