Before you start a YouTube channel, you need to brainstorm on what you really want from it. Take time out to figure out your niche. Do you want to be a lifestyle and fitness vlogger, or do you want to do other stuffs like comedy skirts and short videos. Figure out what you want to do and get started.

2. Create your visual presence

I personally feel that your YouTube channel banner and profile picture should reflect your message and brand. This is a perfect spot to outline what people should look out for in your YouTube channel.  Put some work into your personal branding from the beginning. You can make necessarily adjustment from time to time.

3. Come up with a video plan

Having an idea of the kind of video you want your channel to host will save you a lot of stress. So sit down and write a script. This process should start with a brief that should answer the following.

  • What’s the goal of this video?
  • Who is the audience?
  • What’s the topic?
  • What should viewers learn from watching it?
  • What’s the call-to-action, if there is any?

4. Start recording videos

If your aim is to monetize your channel, then you need a plan. You need to really engage with your audience and put out high quality contents. In your videos, use the introduction to say what the video is about and why the viewers should watch it. Then go from one point to another until you reach the conclusion, summarizing the entire video content. Put in the work to always deliver the best to your audience and do not forget to keep sharing your YouTube link.
