How Rihanna inspired my hit song ‘Shape Of You’ – Ed Sheeran

British music superstar, Ed Sheeran has revealed that Barbadian singer, Rihanna was the inspiration behind his hit song, ‘Shape Of You.’

The Grammy winner made this revelation during a recent interview with Hits Radio as he explained that he was thinking of her while writing the song.

Sheeran said; “Rihanna is genre-less, she can do anything. She’s the grail for songwriters. When I wrote Shape Of You, the person I was writing in my mind for was Rihanna.”

The 2017 track, ‘Shape Of You’ was released was one of the lead singles from from the British musician’s third studio album, ‘Divide.’ It won a Grammy Award for Best Pop Solo Performance at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards.

Nigerian singer, Logos Olori has revealed that he is the songwriter behind music star, Davido’s Grammy-nominated song, ‘Unavailable’.

He revealed during an interview with On Air Personality, Dotun on Cool FM that he wrote the song while his colleague, Peruzzi penned down the verse. Logos Olori said he came up with the idea for the song but Davido wanted a different verse from the one he presented which was why he got Peruzzi involved.

The ‘Jaye Lo’ singer also revealed that ‘Unavailable’ was recorded together with Magic Sticks in a duplex in Ajah area of Lagos State. He further stated that it is a bid deal for him because even Barbadian-American singer, Rihanna considers “Unavailable” one of the best songs of 2023.

Logos Olori said; “Unavailable was nominated for the Grammy. We did that song with Magic Stixx in one duplex in Ajah. I wrote the song, Peruzzi wrote the verse when we did the verse. Davido wanted the verse to be changed so he called on Peruzzi to do the verse but I actully came up with the idea of the song.”
