Christmas is a season set aside for the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ (December 25) and it is usually filled with merriment.
The period sees people spending quality time with family and even sharing gifts to the less privileged as not many have the means to make merry.
Prophet Kayode Asawe of the CAC City of God along Iworoko road, Ado Ekiti in Ekiti state made the last Christmas a memorable one for widows and widowers in the state.
He reportedly purchased gifts out of his own account, and presented them during service to the men and women whose husbands and wives are no more.
In photos which obtained by CorrectNG, the widows could be seen trooping to the pulpit to collect their gifts.
