How I inspired J Hus and Drake’s song – BBNaija’s Tolanibaj

Nigerian reality TV star and disc jockey, Tolani Shobajo, better known as Tolani Baj, has claimed to be the inspiration behind J Hus’ song with Drake titled, ‘Who Told You Bad Man Don’t Dance’.

She said her controversial comment made few years ago that men shouldn’t dance in clubs inspired the British rapper to release that song.

DJ Tolanibaj wanted credit for the idea when she honoured an interview with Clout Radio, where she revised her statement and added that men can dance but “respectfully.”

She said; “I am a DJ, people can dance. Everybody can dance. You guys are still owing me from the tweet [that men shouldn’t dance in clubs].

“I tweeted it years ago. Can I breathe? I even inspired J Hus’ song, ‘Who Told You Bad Man Don’t Dance.’ TBaj told y’all.

“Men can dance, they can legwork but respectfully. Because if you’ve a babe, you can’t be embarrassing her like that.”

Nigerian music sensation, Shallipopi, has revealed that multi award-winning artiste, Ayodeji Balogun also known as Wizkid, is his topmost source of inspiration.

He made the revelation while having a chat with UK-based presenter, Madame Joyce, as he made it known that he has a song with Big Wiz.

According to Shallipopi, he derives ideas from a lot of artistes that inspire him, but the ‘Ojuelegba’ hit maker is his biggest influence.

He said; “All the artistes are inspirations to me. I pick something from all of them. But Wizkid is my biggest influence.”

When asked to drop a hint on the music he made with Wizkid, the ‘Obapluto’ crooner said; “Wizkid is in his daddy era. It’s not even about money because there are a lot of people with money. I think it’s growth. He’s grown now. You can have money and be stvpid so it’s growth.”
