How I broke up with my boyfriend for refusing to eat my food – Lady narrates

A Nigerian lady known as Empress Daisy has recounted how her ex-boyfriend’s lack of appreciation of her culinary efforts made her to stop cooking for men.

She said she used to pamper him by cooking a variety of stews, soups for him and stocking them in his fridge because she wanted to make sure he always had food for the week.

Daisy said that she visited him within the week and did not see any of the food she left inside his refrigerator.

When she questioned him on that fateful day, he informed her that he gave it all out. Daisy said it is something she did for him monthly so it was heartbreaking finding out that he does not eat her food.

After what he did, she made the tough decision to break up with the guy and noted that she has changed.

She said;“That babe just reminded me of when I did something similar. I made ofe akwu, ofe onugbu with stew so that the crown of my head will have food for the week. Came to see him around the midweek, saw the fridge was empty, asked and he said he gave it out. I threw the crown away.

I was even doing it often 😂, like monthly. I will cook soup and stew, I won’t taste it 😩😩😩 because I want baby to have a good meal during the week. Avoid Yaba men.”

A tweep @U10kayShop wrote; You know my address kindly send me 4L of ofe akwu I can boil rice

But Empress refused, saying that she is now a different person who no longer does that.

In other news, a Nigerian man has revealed how he tried to get his ex-girlfriend back even though she is now married.

He said he attempted making her husband jealous when he bumped into them recently.

The guy known as Adeola, who still misses his ex, said he gave the married woman a warm hug in the presence of her partner.

According to him, the husband was watching them, and he hopes that after they went their separate ways, the man became jealous enough to dump her.

Adeola expressed the desire to get his former girlfriend her back if her husband ends their marriage out of jealousy.

He wrote; ”Yesterday I ran into my ex, and we gave each other a warm hug while her partner watched us. Wallahi, I’m hoping he starts overthinking and breaks down so I can get my girlfriend back.”

Reacting, @rovertleinad said; You never know the value of something until you lose it. You see the love she gives with all of her being and you take it for granted, thinking you can easily get such from anyone…. Then you leave and you realise it isn’t so. Take your L chief and move on….

@rovertleinad; …I for support you ooo, but then I realise that would be a disservice to me. My future wife will be sum1 else’s ex too, and she will definitely be a blessing from God. Now imagine her ex praying I f**k things up cos of my insecurities so he can have her for himself. God forbid.

@Bucarai; U go soon begin pay child support for another man’s pikin or finance their wedding half way before your eye go clear.
