Super Falcons star, Asisat Oshoala has reacted to reports of Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen’s impressive outing against Cameroon in the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON.
Nigeria defeated Cameroon 2-0 on Saturday night at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, guaranteeing themselves a spot in the quarterfinals.
Although the two goals were scored by Ademola Lookman, Osimhen’s penetration of the Indomitable Lions’ defense for no less than 80 minutes, made it easier for Nigeria to clinch the win.
Taking to her Twitter page after the game ended, Oshoala disclosed that she had been sleeping, so she asked for update from fans.
“I just Dey wake 😔…..mk una gist me 🤗 #afcon2023”, she wrote.
A female fan simply known as Bukky, responded in the comment section and stated that the Barcelona Femeni striker’s boyfriend, Osimhen did well in the interesting game
Oshoala hinted that she is not shocked because that’s why the CAF player of the year the Greatest Of All Time (GOAT)
“Na why we dey call am GOAT🥰,” She tweeted.
