Ace songstress, Oyinkansola Aderibigbe otherwise known as Ayra Starr has spoken about the closeness between her and record label mate, Rema.
Ayra who is signed to Mavin Records revealed that she plays her unreleased songs for the Jonzing/Mavin Records act to listen to and he gives his honest ratings.
The ‘Sabi’ hitmaker revealed in a recent interview with CapitalXtra in the United Kingdom, that Rema is her very good friend and he is an amazing artiste.
She also said that before she joined the music label, she used to look up to him and his story of having a successful career as a teenager was a source of inspiration.
Ayra Starr said; “He is my very good friend, I looked up to Rema even before I joined the label, his first EP I was like ‘wow this is a Nigerian teenage boy and he was like 18, I didn’t know that was possible, I could do this too’
He is very honest with me, I play him almost every song before it comes out. He’s a very good friend and he is an amazing artiste, I am very inspired by him.”
