He gave me ridiculous verse – Blaqbonez speaks on collabo with Ludacris

Nigerian rapper, Emeka Akumefule also known as Blaqbonez, has revealed how he met American rapper, Ludacris and worked on a project with him.

He said the ‘Area Code’ hit maker wanted to collaborate with him so he arranged his flight to Ghana where they linked up.

According to Blaqbonez, immediately he touched down Ghana they hit the studio and recorded the newly released track Cinderella Girl.

The Nigerian Hip Hop act said it was a big deal for him to work with Ludacris because he’s always been a huge fan.

Blaqbonez then gave him accolades for the verse he dropped on the song which he described as ‘ridiculous’.

He shared a photo of them sitting together and wrote; “Crazy story, @Ludacris and his team flew me out to ghana because he wanted to work with me, and that day we made Cinderella Girl.

Its Huge for me cos I’ve always been a Fan, plus he gave me a ridiculous verse!! 🙏🏽✨”

In other entertainment news, British actor, Idris Elba said few months ago that he intends to build a world class film studio in Ghana, his motherland.

The Hollywood star of Ghanaian descent was born Idrissa Akuna Elba.

He declared his readiness to construct the modern studio when he paid a courtesy visit to President Nana Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee House in Accra, the nation’s capital.

The Golden Globe winner also discussed also the need for a comprehensive plan to propel Ghana into the forefront as far as movie-making was concerned.

Elba took to his Facebook page and reposted a statement from Akufo-Addo which read;

“On Friday, 3rd February 2023, I received English actor, Idris Elba OBE, to Jubilee House, the seat of the nation’s presidency, as part of efforts to promote the “Beyond the Return” initiative.

The time has come to engage Africans in the diaspora and all persons of African descent more positively in areas such as trade and investment co-operation, and skills and knowledge development.”
