Hair vendor who dragged Phyna over rented wig writes apology letter (Photo)

Following a petition filed with the police by reality TV star, Josephina Otabor aka Phyna, a hair vendor who called her out has tendered an apology.

Recall that last year, an entrepreneur identified as Damilola Olaore aka DBeauty Mogul had taken to social media and claimed that Phyna rented a wig from her but failed to return it after the rental period expired.

The entrepreneur said Phyna rented the wig for a movie premiere on Sunday, December 10, 2023, and was supposed to have returned it the next day.

She wrote: “Phyna rented my wig for the movie premiere of A Tr!be Called Judah on Sunday (10th, Dec 2023). She ought to return the wig on Monday (11th, Dec 2023). Till this minute, she hasn’t returned my wigs. Can you please help in anyway.”

Feeling maligned by the accusation, Phyna petitioned the police on January 24 alleging conspiracy and cyberbullying.

The Edo-born brand influencer said she has been constantly bullied and embarrassed over a wig she wore to the movie premiere which she never knew was rented. She, however, declared that with the involvement of police, justice is on the way.

Hours after disclosing that she reported the matter to the police, Phyna received an apology letter from Damilola for publicly shaming her with the wig saga last December.
