Meanwhile, in another news…

Commander of the Ondo State Security Network Agency, (Amotekun Corps), Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, has said that bad roads and high rate of unemployment are fueling insecurity in some parts of the state.

He urged the Federal Government to provide job opportunities in order to deter able-bodied Nigerians from engaging in crimes.

Adeleye, who disclosed this while parading some suspected criminals in Akure, stressed that the deplorable Owo-Benin highway at the Ifon axis had been aiding the activities of kidnappers.

The Amotekun Commander also stated that the recent palliatives by the government should be given to those who truly deserved them.

Adeleye, who pleaded with the Federal Government for immediate rehabilitation of the highway, maintained that Amotekun operatives have been deployed to the area to curb the activities of the criminals.
