Speaking on his current health status, the Cameroonian said although he feels healthy, he still sees the need to go for checkup and fins out if anything can be done to improve health-wise.

Ngannou said; “We move, but regardless I feel okay. I was quite surprised that I remember everything from that fight night and coming back to the locker room. Basically I was conscious right after and since then everything has been good, although (I) still need to run some medical work just in case.

“I feel healthy but for the longevity of the sport… we better check and find out if there’s anything that could be done to get better now… I still need more checkups”.

Anthony Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, has said that he cannot wait for the British boxer to beat Tyson Fury after seeing him ‘destroy’ Cameroon’s Francis Ngannou.

He spoke after the bout which held at the Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia, noting that he was proud of the boxing champion.

He urged Fury to defeat Oleksandr Usyk so that he can finally face the Nigerian nightmare in the ‘biggest fight in the history’ of boxing.

The British promoter said; “I am so proud of him because there was a huge amount of pressure. “On this form, there is no man that can beat him. Tyson Fury please beat Usyk because you will get the biggest fight in the history of the sport.

“He is a fighter, he is an inspiration to young people. What I said would happen, happened. He destroyed Francis Ngannou. He is a beast and I cannot wait for him to beat Tyson Fury.”
