Feminists in Nigeria are practicing witchcraft – Tacha

Reality TV star and brand ambassador, Natacha Anita Akide, professionally called Tacha, has described the feminism practiced in Nigeria as witchcraft.

She stated this during an interview with Chude Jideonwo as she revisited her online clash with internet sensation, Deborah Olabisi aka Mummy Zee.

Recall that weeks ago, Tacha was having a chat with Phyna on her podcast, when she made reference to how Mummy Zee woke up by 4:30 am to cook for her husband, and condemned such action.

Tacha feminist witchcraft

A Twitter user drew the attention of Mummy Zee that the BBNaija alumni was insulting her on a show and the pregnant woman responded; “That one wey no get sense.”

However, addressing the controversy during her chat with Chude, Tacha denied Deborah’s accusation, stating that she was defending actually defending her on the show.

She stressed that her own version of feminism is different from the ‘witchcaft’ that is practiced in Nigeria, and that is what she was trying to make people understand.

Tacha said; “So, I was literally praising this woman on my show, saying why was feminists trolling her because I love feminism then.

“I was like the feminism you people practiced in Nigeria is witchcraft because when you are supposed to come out you people won’t come out but for the wrong things you just hate men in general. That’s not what I practiced.”
