The lawmaker representing Enugu North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Ayogu Eze has reportedly died.
According to Daily Post, an inside source disclosed that the senator passed on at a hospital in the Federal Capital Territory after a protracted illness.
The source also said the former Senate spokesman, had been down, and the health situation made him unable to attend his child’s wedding ceremony in Lagos held earlier in the year.
He was a founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) before he defected to the All Progressives Congress, (APC) in 2018, where he ran for Enugu State governorship election.
