Nigerian content creator, Carter Efe finally got a chance to meet his favorite singer, Ayo ‘Wizkid’ Balogun, but it did turn out as well as he wished.
Wiz snubbed Carter Efe despite his attempts to get his attention at the recently held Landmark Beach concert in Lagos state.
In a video posted online, the duo could be seen backstage when the skit-maker started hailing Big Wiz who was apparently waiting to be called on stage for his performance.
Carter, who was not able to get up-close with the Grammy winner had to hail him from a few feet away, but Wizkid did not look at him or acknowledge his presence.
Rising singer, Berri Tiga was together with Efe when he kept praising Wizkid but did not get a response.

This comes days after the comedian turned singer, said he would love to meet his idol, Wizkid.
He said that he heard Wizkid was in Lagos, and he felt it was a perfect opportunity to meet the person that inspired him to make a song.
Carter had earlier made the hit song, Machala as a tribute to Big Wiz even though he has never seen or met him in person.
Starboy who lives in Ghana with his family landed in Nigeria days ago and for his annual end of the year show which took place in Lagos.
Carter Efe took to his Twitter account and wrote; “I wan see Wizkid. Wizkid don dey Lagos.”
Meanwhile, Nigerians took to social media last weekend to react to reports that Wizkid failed to invite Carter Efe to his show but brought out Berri Tiga.
Wizkid held his Starboy Live in Lagos concert at Eko hotel on Saturday and it was star studded, however, one highlight that got people talking was when Berri Tiga hopped on stage to sing Machala which is owned by skit-maker, Carter Efe.
People were expecting that Carter and Berri would mount the tage to perform together or at least if both can’t come then Efe should be the one invited since it’s his song.
An attendee expressed shock that Tiga was the one invited not Efe and recorded the moment the musician was performing the hit song alone.
The fan expressed sadness that Carter Efe did not get the long awaited chance to achieve his dream of performing on the same stage with Big Wiz.
