Eedris Abdulkareerm lied about 50 Cent flogging PSquare – Paul Okoye

Popular Nigerian artiste, Paul Okoye aka Rudeboy, has refuted the claim by Eedris Abdulkareem that PSquare was assaulted by American rapper 50 Cent.

CorrectNG recalls Eedris had said that 50 Cent ‘dealt’ with Nigerian artistes when he visited the country for a concert which held at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos in 2004.

The ‘Jaga Jaga’ singer said the rapper and his crew “flogged and chased” some local artistes, including P-Square, out of the backstage.

Eedris He also recounted the cause of their beef, which he said was because 50 Cent’s bouncers approached him to leave the backstage, but he refused.

The rapper said; “For the plane saga, it was the second day. A day before that time, we were at TBS at the backstage and when 50 Cent and his crew came backstage, they chased and flogged every Nigerian out of the backstage including P-Square.

“I just dey boil for where I dey. I was waiting for them to come and chase me. So, they finally came. When they came they asked me to leave that 50 Cent was coming. I said, ‘So what? Please, get the f*ck out of my face.’ They went to report me to one of the organisers and he told them to leave me alone. Na there the wahala for start, so they escaped that night.”

Reacting during a recent Instagram live session, Rudeboy said P-Square never attended the said show due to the inability of the organisers to reach an agreement with them on the booking fees.

He said Abdulkareem betrayed Nigerian artistes by going behind them to accept “peanut” from the show organisers after they had already agreed on lucrative performance fees.

Rudeboy said: “P-Square did not go for the [50 Cent] concert. We had another concert. We were never billed. The reason was because they offered us peanuts, and we refused. But Eedris Abdulkareem accepted the peanut and was expecting VIP treatment. 50 Cent crew didn’t beat you well.

“Respect yourself. P-Square was never billed for that concert. Daddy Showkey, Tony Tetuila, everyone is telling you guys that Eedris is a big liar. We know he is a lair. We were never billed for that concert. We didn’t go.”
