Business mogul and music executive, Emeka Okonkwo aka E-Money has ensured the arrest of a troll who leveled allegations against him having affair with late actor, Junior Pope’s wife.
It may be recalled that after Pope lost his life in a boat accident, some online blogs and individuals had linked his death to E-money, alleging that it was because he was sleeping with her.
E-Money had debunked allegations of having an affair with the actor’s widow, Jennifer Awele while her husbad was still alive, and vowed to ensure that those behind the false information are made to face the full wrath of the law.
“It has come to my attention that some individuals are spreading damaging and false information about my relationship with my late brother, Junior Pope, and his family during this difficult time of mourning. These actions show a complete lack of respect for the memory of the deceased and are deeply hurtful to our grieving family,” he wrote in part.
Giving an update, the multi-millionaire disclosed that police has arrested one of the social media users who made wild allegations to defame his character.
The CEO of Five Star Music wrote; “I’m relieved to share that one of the individuals responsible for the character assassination against me has been apprehended by the Nigeria Police Force and will face prosecution.
This is a significant step towards ending the scourge of cyber bullying. My heartfelt gratitude goes out to the diligent officers of the Nigerian Police Force for their unwavering commitment to justice.”
