A police officer recently got into a heated exchange with an official of the Department of State Services, DSS, at an event in Abuja.
In a video making the rounds on social media, the police man in uniform asked the suited up DSS operative to leave a seat he was sitting on, believed to have been reserved.
Although the details of what caused the clash remains sketchy, the officer refused to back down and insisted on kicking out his colleague with a sister security agency.
Just as the DSS official’s colleague intervened, spectators at the event supported the police man in removing the DSS official from the space he sat.

onoruoiza22; Police is actually the one responsible for law and order and not DSS; this impunity must stop. DSS should focus on intelligence gathering to support the police. That’s the ideal thing to do. We citizens shouldn’t know who officers in DSS as their job is with secrecy.
