DJ Cuppy replies botany graduate as he reminds her of her desire to date a botanist
Florence Ifeoluwa Otedolo popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has reacted after a first class graduate identified as Hamzat Ridwan reminded her of her old desire to be with someone in his field.
In June 2021, the disc jockey took to microblogging platform, Twitter to state that she wanted to date either a botanist or a geologist.
“I want to date a botanist or geologist 🥸”, she tweeted.
Hamzat, who was studying Botany in the university at the time, pleaded with her to be patient with him for one year so that they could be together.
“Give me 1 more year and am all yours”
Fastforward to January 2024, the young man quoted the post and told Cuppy that he has bagged a first class bachelor’s degree in Botany, two years after his appeal. He informed her that he emerged the best graduating student of his department
Hamzat wrote; “.@cuppymusic 2 years later and a first class honors! B.Sc. (Hons) BOTANY Also the best graduating student, department of Botany.”
The tweet went viral with over 1k retweets and the billionaire heiress responded by congratulating the latest Botanist and describing him as a king.
“Congratulations king 👏🏾💕👨🏾🎓”, she wrote.
