Director General of the World Health Organization WHO, Tedros Ghebreyesus, took to Twitter today to commend the Federal government for the swift and transparent manner in handling the first Coronavirus case in Nigeria.
The First case which is an Italian man, was discovered on February 26th. It was confirmed in Lagos, Nigeria by the Minister of Health, Dr Osagie Emmanuel Ehanire.

As at Friday March 6th, the Italian man has reportedly recovered and may soon be discharged.
