”Dem yab my outfit, I win award” – Bad Boy Timz celebrates his first Headies Award (Video)
Fast-rising Nigerian afrobeat act, Olorunyemi Oloruntimilehin, popularly known as Bad Boy Timz, has taken to social media to celebrate his first Headies Award despite being mocked over the outfit he donned to the event.
The singer, clinched his first Headies Award as the ‘2021 Rookie of The Year’.
The ”Loading” hitmaker was announced the winner at the award show which held in Lagos on Sunday, February 21, 2021.
Speaking on the reception he received on arrival at the prestigious award show, Bad Boy Timz noted how he was mocked for his choice of clothing, but he eventually went home a winner.
Sharing a video of himself dancing in high spirits after being announced as the Rookie Of The Year, the 24-year-old wrote;
”Dem yab my outfit, I win award”
The artiste beat four other highly sought-after up and coming names to clinch the title. He was nominated alongside Olakira, Jamopyper, Alpha P, and Zinoleesky.
