Some relief amid the recent scandals hovering above Afrobeats singer, Davido, has come in the form of a music accomplishment.

The award-winning musician’s latest album titled ‘Timeless’ has surpassed 150 million listens on global streaming platform, Spotify.

Davido’s latest feat comes two months after he dropped the 17 tracklist project which features acts like Asake, Skepta, Musa Keys and Angelique Kidjo.

This was made known on Spotify’s page and the ace artiste received congratulations.

Meanwhile, early this month, David Adeleke known professionally as Davido, made a prophetic declaration on his latest album.

The ‘Holy Ground’ singer stated that ‘TIMELESS’ is guaranteed to reach one billion streams in the next one month.

Davido took to his Snapchat account and reposted a comment from a fan, who said that it will be achieved with only five streaming platforms.

The post which he reshared read; “Davido’s Timeless album is guaranteed to hit 1 billion streams across only 5 platforms come next month.”

He dropped Timeless on March 31st and in the first 24 hours it amassed 12 million streams on global streaming platform, Audiomack.
