Nigerian music heavyweight, Davido, born David Adeleke, has announced a headlining festival themed “A.W.A.Y” which he will be headlining in USA.
The concert will hold at the 21,000 capacity indoor arena in Atlanta, Georgia on 18th of November 2022.
Davido had on Wednesday, September 15, taken to his Twitter page to inform fans that there is a big announcement coming.

On Thursday, the DMW founder announced his headlining festival via his twitter page today.
Davido wrote; ”Taking you A.W.A.Y with a one-day music festival and cultural experience . I can’t wait to have some of my friends from back home share the stage with my friends Stateside as we promote the culture! Tickets go on sale on 23rd of September.”
Among the lineup to perform alongside him at the event, include Wande Coal, Kizz Daniel, , Oxlade, Lojay, Pheelz, BNXN (Buju), Victony, Focalistic and DJ E Cool.
In other entertainment news, Chukwuka Ekweani, the singer popularly known as CKay has been awarded a recognition plaque following his performance in Tunisia.
He graced the stage at the 30,000 capacity Carthage Amphitheater in Tunis and shut down the arena which was full to the maximum.
The management decided to appreciate CKay by presenting him a plaque and a photo which surfaced online shows him posing with it.
The Chocolate City artiste also took to his Instagram page and shared a video of his captivating performance at the Carthage Amphitheater.
He acknowledged the historic importance of performing at the arena which has been existing for 2000 years and went further to thank fans for showing up.
Sharing the clip, Ckay wrote; ”Over two thousand years of history in this arena! Thank you Carthage, Tunisia! 🇹🇳💜✨| 🎥 @z3rovisuals”.
