Davido thrills fans, jumps into crowd during first show in New York (Video)

Ace Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Davido has shutdown the city of New York in his epic comeback performance after returning from a hiatus.

The artiste recently held his first show in the United States and a video from the night of fun is currently making the rounds on social media.

It may be recalled that Davido announced few days ago that he would be hosting a special live event in London, New York ahead of the Puma collection launch.

“London, New York City, Lagos join me for ‘A Timeless Night’, a special live event, where we’ll make members that will last forever”, he said.

As part of the launch, Davido held a meet and greet for fans at select PUMA stores in New York City on Saturday, April 2 and he performed the same night.

Fans were excited to finally see him live and while performing at his show, Davido jumped into the crowd.

CorrectNG reported earlier that David ”Davido” Adeleke took to his Twitter account on Monday evening to announce that the highly anticipated collection with global sportswear giant, Puma will be released on Apri 7th 2023.

The DMW founder expressed deep gratitude to fans for their unwavering support and patience while awaiting the release of his outfits, adding that their support means the world to him.

He wrote; “My collection with PUMA will be released globally on April 7th! Thank you to everyone for patiently waiting on this, it means the world to me.

I will be doing meet and greets at PUMA stores in New York and UK, just before my shows and would love to see you all there!”

The collection was suppose to be released last year but due to the unfortunate passing of his three-year-old son, it was postponed.

Puma Nigeria announced earlier; “We have made the difficult but necessary decision to reschedule the launch of the PUMA x Davido collection to 2023. All customers who have pre-ordered may receive their orders when we launch, convert your purchase to store credit, or request a full refund.”
