Uche Maduagwu, a Nigerian actor known for controversies, has claimed that Grammy nominated singer, Davido paid a huge sum of money for his recent linkup with Wizkid.
In December 2023, David Adeleke aka Davido and Ayo ”Wizkid” Balogun set the internet agog with an unexpected meeting amid their purported rivalry.
The popular duo met at an event organised in Lagos for DJ Skyla, younger sister of Wizkid’s manager and baby mama, Jada Pollock.
OBO and Machala hugged while the MC of the event acknowledged and announced their presence as they exchanged pleasantries.
Reacting to the scene, Uche claimed the DMW boss paid millions of naira to hang out with the Starboy Entertainment founder
Speaking in the latest episode of the Trends and Bants show, Maduagwu challenged Davido to come out and deny his claim.
He said: “I like Davido but he is a clout-chaser. Recently, they said he hung out with Wizkid. Did you know how much he paid to hang out with Wizkid? Everybody pays to hang out with Wizkid.
“Davido paid millions of naira to hang out with Wizkid. I am serious. Can Davido come out to say he never paid to hang out with him?”
