Top singer and music executive, David Adeleke popularly called Davido, has partnered with UnitedMasters to launch his new label Nine+ Records.
He announced a major shift in the organizational restructuring via his official Twitter page on Saturday, 20th of April 2024.
Davido’s former label, Davido Music Worldwide, (DMW) has officially been dissolved. The music star, according to the terms of the new deal, will spearhead artiste development and A&R for a lineup of Nigerian artistes.
He also revealed that all the artistes currently signed to DMW, which includes, Peruzzi, Logos Olori, Liya and others will move to Nine+.
The Omo Baba Olowo wrote; “All dmw artists would be moved to Nine+ records …. Clearing the air!”
Some of the artistes currently signed to DMW include Dremo, Peruzzi, Idowest, DJ Ecool, Danagog, B-Red, Deekay, Liya, Morravey, Logos Olori.

Nigerian singer and former DMW signee, Yonda earlier appealed to superstar Davido to forgive him for his misdeeds and welcome him back to the family.
He had shared a conversation between him and OBO, where he pleaded passionately to be given another chance. Yonda asked his former boss to temper justice with mercy and not leave him hanging because he has been black-listed from the industry.
The Bro Code singer, who said his music career is dead begged Davido to take him back like the prodigal son. In response, the multi award-winning singer said he also misses his former record label artiste.
Yonda continued to plead his case and admitted that he got it wrong and is willing to make amends with the guidance of Davido.
He further said the ‘Jowo’ crooner is the best thing that has happened to him, however, Davido said what Yonda did hurt him.
