Davido, Governor Adeleke to support physically challenged hawker in Brain Jotter’s video

Nigerian music star, David Adeleke also known as Davido, and his uncle, the governor of Osun state, Ademola Adeleke, have pledged support for a physically challenged hawker known as Eniola.

The young girl recently went viral online after popular skit-maker, Brain Jotter spotted her hawking water in the busy Lagos traffic and decided to assist.

Eniola, whose makeup brand name is Glam by Eniola on Instagram, received the sum of N400,000 from the comedian after engaging her in a conversation..

In the trending clip, she opened up on how she had moved from Osun to Lagos to hustle for a living, explaining that she not only hawked water on the streets but also worked as a makeup artist.

Upon seeing the video on Twitter, Davido tagged Governor Adeleke, for government intervention.

“From Osun state ??? @AAdeleke_01 @MrBanksOmishore,” the singer wrote.

In response to Davido’s tag, Mr Adeleke praised Eniola’s dedication to honest hard work, and revealed that his administration will reach out to her to explore opportunities.

Adeleke said, “Thanks for sharing the video. Eniola’s dedication to making an honest living is inspiring. She embodies the qualities that represent Osun. I’ve directed my office to get in touch with her & explore possibilities to assist in advancing her education or improving her makeup skills.”

Reacting further, Davido also appealed to the public to help him locate Eniola.

“Excellency !! Please someone help us locate her ❤️”
