Davido features on America’s ABC News as ‘King of Afrobeats’ [Video]

Nigerian superstar singer, David Adeleke professionally known as Davido, has celebrated being a feature guest on ABC News.

The DMW boss was labelled the ‘King of Afrobeats’ and this formed the basis of the question the interviewer asked him during the chat.

Davido shared a video of the feature interview where he talked about how he grew through the years to become the King of Afrobeats.

According to the DMW boss, his lifestyle is more of a reflection of the western culture whereas his music is about 80 percent immersive in African culture.

He said that while growing up in Atlanta, he loved listening to Ludacris, Ja Rule, Nelly and these rappers helped shape his style. OBO added that his interest in African music picked up when he was about 14 years old.

Sharing the clip, Davido wrote; “Seeing the way Afrobeats have changed the world and the impact we’ve had in music is beautiful!
