Award-winning Nigerian singer and songwriter, Fireboy DML, has relished going on a date with legendary American pop star, Madonna.
In a recent chat with Billboard News, the YBNL artiste recounted how it happened and described the experience as the “most memorable day” of his life.
The duo have also worked together on the remix of her 1998 classic, ‘Frozen’ in 2022. Madonna later shot a video for the song with him in the United States of America.
Fireboy DML said Madonna slid into his DM to let him know that she is a fan, and after that, they went on a date. He added that she is a weird and funny individual, and he loves her.
He said; “Madonna sent me a DM on Instagram. I think she told me she was a fan and she loved the most unlikely song on my debut album. She is so weird and funny. I just love her.
That is one of the highlights of my career; having a song with Madonna is really something to be proud of because that’s the Queen of pop. I went out on a date with Madonna and I would say that was probably the most memorable day of my life. It was an experience.”
