Senegal is developing a dollar worth of testing kit for the coronavirus as it reportedly has no shortage of kits.
According to a report by Aljazeera, researchers are developing a quick diagnostic kit which gives an instant result like a pregnancy test kit.
Amadou Alpha Sall, lead researcher at a Senegalese health institute said they plan to rapidly produce 2 million to 4 million kits for nationwide use.
The report also states that considering there are only 50 ventilator machines for the almost 60 million population, Senegalese engineers employed the use of 3D printing machines to make $60 worth of ventilators.
